Assist in the triage and assignment of claims coverage legal questions by identifying relevant information in the claims file concerning personal, casualty, or property loss or damages. Responsible for assisting with claims processing and payments to third-party providers, monitoring charges and verifying correct payments. Provide support for sending denial letters on claims and sending follow-up requests for information.

 

Requirements:
  • Experience with the claims adjustment process (Two Years).
  • Experience with Property & Casualty Personal Lines of Insurance (Two Years).
  • Experience working in multiple claims files simultaneously (Two Years).
  • Salesforce, MS Excel, MS Outlook

 

Responsibilities:
  • Position requires daily monitoring of new legal coverage opinion requests.
  • The individual selected will need to review file and based on type of claim assign to internal or external legal resource for review.
  • For external assignments, individual will be required to obtain proper billing information and follow business process for delivery of the file materials.
  • The position will require the individual to work closely with the internal legal claims coverage team and will act as primary point of contact between the legal and claims adjusting teams.
  • While experience with Salesforce is beneficial, it is not necessary as we can train for the position.
  • Although the initial term for the position is six months, the term may be extended contingent on ongoing need.
