Our client is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounting Manager (CPA) with 5–7+ years of public accounting experience to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage engagements while actively contributing to fieldwork and technical execution. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with GAAP and professional standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including supporting schedules and disclosures.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Work directly in the field alongside staff, providing hands-on technical support and mentorship.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing strategic guidance.
- Identify accounting, reporting, and internal control issues and recommend solutions.
- Assist with engagement planning, risk assessment, and quality control procedures.
- Contribute to firm growth through client service excellence and team leadership.
- Support tax-related matters when needed (tax experience is beneficial but not required).

- Active CPA license required.
- 5–7+ years of public accounting experience in audit and accounting.
- Strong experience with audits, reviews, compilations, and financial statement preparation.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP, audit standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience working with multiple clients across diverse industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hands-on environment.
- Experience serving not-for-profit, construction, or small business clients.
- Prior experience in a manager-level or engagement leadership role.
- Exposure to tax preparation or tax planning (not required).
