Join a fast-growing dealership group as an Automotive Controller! Our client is looking for a proven accounting leader to oversee financial reporting, team development, and dealership compliance. This is a high-impact, onsite role supporting multiple locations and collaborating with senior leadership.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead preparation of monthly financial statements for assigned dealerships
  • Review and ensure accounting accuracy across payables, receivables, and deal postings
  • Supervise and train a team including Assistant Controllers and accounting staff
  • Collaborate with F&I and billing departments to maintain proper deal flow
  • Analyze financials, report gross variances, and assist with forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and year-end audit prep
  • Use DealerTrack DMS and Excel to manage reporting and analysis
  • Oversee banking, expense reporting, and cash management operations


What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) required
  • 3+ years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in auto dealerships
  • OEM New Car Dealership experience required
  • Strong Excel skills and dealership software knowledge (DealerTrack preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and financial integrity
