Job Description: Permanent Controller in Irving with skills in MAS/500 and Paycom
We are seeking a green Controller or experienced GL Manager to make the next step in their career & to manage our accounting and finance department in Irving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller or similar role. The candidate must be proficient in MAS/500 and Paycom software systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations - Prepare and analyze financial statements - Develop and implement financial policies and procedures - Coordinate and manage annual audits - Manage and mentor accounting staff - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Must be strong/proficient in MAS/500 software - Paycom experience strongly desired - company will be converting over to Paycom - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - CPA certification preferred - Strong leadership and organizational skills - Excellent communication and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
