The User Experience Writer is responsible for creating high-quality, performance-driven content that delivers innovative, cohesive, and compliant digital experiences to meet the needs of our members, member service representatives, and business partners. This role utilizes human-centered design, user testing, content design principles, omnichannel content strategy, SEO best practices, accessibility guidelines, and company brand and style guidelines to develop content and execute comprehensive digital content experiences that address member problems and support business objectives.
- User Experience Writing or Content Design: Minimum 2 years of experience in creating user-centered content for digital platforms, such as websites, mobile apps, emails, text messages, and push notifications.
- SEO and AP Style: Minimum 2 years of experience with SEO practices, AP style guidelines, and working with style guides.
- Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and Design Teams: Minimum 2 years of experience in effectively partnering with subject matter experts and design teams to develop user experiences.
- Microsoft Office for creating messaging and content.
- Figma for content layout and visual presentation.
- SEMrush for keyword research to optimize content for search engines and improve discoverability.
- Conduct user experience writing for various digital platforms, including website, mobile app, email communications, text messages, and push notifications.
- Analyze business requirements to develop relevant and impactful content that aligns with strategic goals.
- Employ strategic thinking to craft engaging and effective content that resonates with users and enhances their experience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and design teams to ensure content aligns with user needs and overall design direction.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering within tight timelines (1 to 7 days) based on complexity.
