Key Responsibilities
- Analyze credit strategies to ensure offers and products do not expose the organization to undue financial risk.
- Evaluate credit card portfolios and strategies, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Independently execute analytical work once business requirements are provided by leadership.
- Write and execute SAS-heavy queries in a sandbox environment to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Utilize SQL and Python to support advanced analytics and data validation.
- Summarize raw data into clear, concise insights and present findings to leadership using Tableau, Excel, or similar tools.
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in credit risk analytics, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAS (SAS coding assessment required during interview).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
- Experience working with large, numerical, and analytical datasets.
- Ability to work independently and manage analysis end-to-end once direction is provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to senior leadership.
- Banking experience strongly preferred.
