Job Description


Overview:
The Data Center Business Analyst will be responsible for project documentation, analysis, managing the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tool, and creating JIRA stories. This role requires close collaboration with the Data Center Project and Operations Team to support analysis, planning, and execution of various initiatives. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in-office at locations within the DFW area.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain DCIM tools used in data centers.
  • Document project details, including technical and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze and document current operational processes, identify issues, and propose improvements.
  • Develop and document Methods of Procedure (MOPs), collaborating with stakeholders to plan release steps.
  • Support project planning, management, and scope control throughout the lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and visualizations to track KPIs and enable data-driven decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, such as creating JIRA tickets, distributing meeting minutes, following up on action items, and maintaining documentation in Confluence and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Travel to data center facilities or project sites as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills to support both operational and project needs.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business requirements.
  • Highly proactive, independent, and effective in multi-tasking.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
