Monday–Friday | 8: 00 AM –4: 30 PM
Potential shift adjustment to 2: 00 PM –10: 30 PM
A leading healthcare facility is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Clerks to support daily hospital supply and inventory operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with warehouse, inventory, retail, or medical supply experience.
Position Overview
The Distribution Clerk is responsible for ensuring hospital departments are stocked with essential medical supplies and equipment. This role supports supply chain operations, inventory replenishment, equipment handling, and delivery coordination across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory, restock, and organize hospital supply carts and storage areas
- Pick, pull, and distribute supplies throughout hospital departments
- Process storeroom requisitions and special supply orders
- Accurately enter inventory and supply activity into the computer system
- Assist with receiving and warehouse operations as needed
- Deliver supplies to offsite departments when required
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized storeroom areas
- Handle and decontaminate patient care equipment using proper PPE
- Monitor stock levels and notify leadership of low inventory
- Support emergency supply requests and urgent deliveries
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new software systems
- Prior warehouse, inventory, retail, central supply, or medical experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License preferred
- EMR System: Epic
- No on-call requirements
- Orientation dress code: Black top and black pants
- Uniforms provided after orientation
- Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts
