Job Summary
The HR Operations Specialist supports daily HR operations and transactional processes, partnering closely with People Partners to deliver responsive, high-quality service to associates and managers. This role collaborates cross-functionally, supports HR systems and compliance activities, and contributes to process improvements that enhance the associate experience.

The HR Operations Specialist supports daily HR operations and transactional processes, partnering closely with People Partners to deliver responsive, high-quality service to associates and managers. This role collaborates cross-functionally, supports HR systems and compliance activities, and contributes to process improvements that enhance the associate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for associate and manager HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance on policies, procedures, and systems
Administer workforce transactions in the HRIS, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, terminations, and data updates
Troubleshoot and resolve HR-related system and process issues
Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation
Process operational HR requests such as employment verifications, unemployment claims, and official correspondence
Conduct regular data and process audits;identify and recommend corrective actions
Develop and maintain job aids, templates, and internal HR resources
Educate associates and managers on HR tools and self-service processes
Manage and support the associate recognition program, including recommendations for enhancements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Contribute to HR initiatives, projects, reporting, and ad hoc support as needed
3+ years of experience in HR administration or People Operations
Experience using an HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce preferred)
Hands-on experience with full-cycle onboarding and offboarding
Strong data management and reporting skills;advanced Excel proficiency
Excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration skills
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information
