Position Summary:
We are seeking a Developer Team Lead with experience in full-stack development, supporting and architecting web and mobile applications, and building APIs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong team player, and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role will be instrumental in defining development standards, delivering high-quality products, and driving future innovations.

Location & Schedule:
  • Full-time, on-site role
  • Based in the Fort Worth, Texas area (must reside in DFW Metroplex or surrounding areas)
  • Sponsorship is not offered for this position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a development team, including career planning, knowledge sharing, and acting as an escalation point
  • Forecast team staffing needs and address skill gaps
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Write high-quality, testable code following industry best practices
  • Architect and develop scalable, resilient platforms aligned with the product roadmap
  • Coordinate multiple development initiatives simultaneously
  • Research new technologies and provide guidance on adoption
  • Create technical requirements and provide trusted development estimates
  • Enhance team velocity and enforce quality standards
  • Implement and ensure unit test coverage and/or test-driven development
  • Maintain legacy systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate project status, roadblocks, and updates to management
  • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and external partners
  • Comply with configuration management and change control policies
  • Deeply understand products and systems to optimize performance and functionality
  • Adapt to changing priorities and proactively seek solutions

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of full-stack development experience with high proficiency in both front-end and back-end development
  • Proven leadership and team motivation skills
  • Experience working with multiple levels of management and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, reprioritize tasks, and take initiative
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with Node.Js, NestJS, or similar frameworks
  • Experience with Angular, React, React Native, or similar front-end libraries
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and IaaS/PaaS offerings
  • Proficient with GIT source control
  • Knowledge of design patterns and scalable application design
  • Experience with 24x7, high-volume, mission-critical, data-driven applications
  • Strong knowledge of relational (MySQL, T-SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
  • Experience in application scaling and load testing

  • Familiarity with mocking frameworks
  • Experience with geolocation data and distance algorithms
  • Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks

  • HTML5/CSS/SASS knowledge
  • Experience in industries such as logistics, transportation, or fintech
