We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Supervisor to lead a team responsible for accounts receivable and insurance follow-up operations. This role oversees daily workflows, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and drives performance to meet productivity and quality goals.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Supervisor to lead a team responsible for accounts receivable and insurance follow-up operations. This role oversees daily workflows, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, and drives performance to meet productivity and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily AR and insurance follow-up operations
- Assign and monitor team workloads to meet productivity and quality standards
- Perform production and quality audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of billing and claims issues
- Create and maintain reports to track team performance and AR metrics
- Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and healthcare regulations
- Assist with payer fee schedule loading and auditing
- Develop, update, and maintain departmental policies and workflows
- Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development
- Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and operational efficiency
- 5+ years of experience in medical claims and accounts receivable
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines and healthcare claims regulations
- Experience working in a healthcare AR or revenue cycle environment
- Familiarity with EMR systems and billing platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced degree (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Experience improving workflows and implementing process changes
- Knowledge of payer contracts and fee schedules
- Office-based role with standard business equipment
- Occasional travel to medical offices may be required
