Network Engineer III (Network Foreman / Lead)
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth (Home-to-Job)
Type: Contract-to-Hire (720 hours / ~4 months)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 6: 00 AM –4: 30 PM (56 hrs/week)

The Network Engineer III serves as a field lead, overseeing crews and ensuring structured cabling and network installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and documentation skills.

About the Role
The Network Engineer III serves as a field lead, overseeing crews and ensuring structured cabling and network installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specification sheets
- Lead and manage teams of up to 10 technicians
- Ensure compliance with grounding and bonding requirements
- Oversee structured cabling and network backbone installations
- Troubleshoot copper systems and perform testing using Fluke testers
- Coordinate installation of multi-tier cable tray systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using Excel
- Serve as a point of accountability for job site performance and quality
- OSHA 10 certification required;OSHA 30 preferred
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards
- General understanding of fiber optic cabling and installation
- Experience testing and troubleshooting copper systems
- Proven leadership experience managing field technicians
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation is required
- Data center project experience
- BICSI certification
- Leadership role on high-visibility projects
