Quality Engineer
Full-Time | Onsite | North Dallas Area

We are a technology-driven manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Engineer to support high-reliability products used in advanced computing and data infrastructure applications. This role is 100% onsite at a North Dallas manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, protocols, and test methodologies

  • Review technical documentation and engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external standards

  • Conduct internal quality audits and prepare detailed findings and reports

  • Identify quality improvement opportunities and support process optimization initiatives

  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to resolve quality issues

  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics to drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications

  • Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities

  • Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and audit activities in collaboration with Supplier Quality

  • Develop customer- and company-required quality plans

  • Perform product inspections and testing activities

  • Oversee complaint management, trending, and analysis

  • Plan and execute process validation and revalidation activities

  • Coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance for equipment and facilities

  • Monitor manufacturing and quality system indicators (e.G., SPC, scrap trends)

  • Support Quality Management System (QMS) improvements in coordination with Quality leadership

  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and manage nonconforming product documentation
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong working knowledge of quality management systems (e.G., ISO 9001)

  • Experience with quality tools, methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques

  • Proficiency in SPC and statistical analysis tools (e.G., Minitab)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management software

  • Experience supporting optics, photonics, aerospace, or similarly regulated/high-precision industries is highly preferred
Travel & International Requirements

  • Ability to commit to extended international training assignments if required

  • Must maintain a valid passport with sufficient remaining validity

  • Must be eligible to obtain a business visa for international travel
Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional quality certification (e.G., ASQ, CQE)

  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments

  • Familiarity with project management principles

  • Mandarin language skills (reading, writing, or speaking) are a plus

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Regular use of hands and arms for handling, inspection, and equipment interaction

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally

  • Daily work in a cleanroom environment
