R&D Project Manager (Enterprise Enablement)About the Role
We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional product development initiatives within a centralized project management environment. This role is responsible for delivering new product development, design changes, and sustaining projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

You will partner closely with engineering, regulatory, quality, operations, and product teams to drive execution across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from concept through commercialization, including new product development and sustaining initiatives
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, execution, and on-time delivery
  • Oversee design changes, software updates, product enhancements, and market releases
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, design controls, and quality requirements
  • Track and report project status, risks, and performance to stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings, drive accountability, and resolve project issues proactively
  • Support product lifecycle planning and portfolio management activities
  • Coordinate engineering verification, validation, and documentation efforts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of project management experience in regulated industries (medical device preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical product development projects
  • Prior engineering experience, ideally in medical device or similar environment
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and system-level engineering (mechanical, electrical, software)
  • Knowledge of design controls, risk management, and global regulatory standards (e.G., FDA, ISO 13485)
  • Experience managing multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.G., MS Project, Excel)
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
