Job Description
Administers moderately complex trust accounts in accordance with the terms specified in the trust instrument (Agency, Agent for Trustee, ILITs, IRAs, Simple and Complex Trusts).
Performs all duties and functions in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, including timely completion of all required administrative reviews, investment reviews, court accountings and required compliance documentation.
Begin gaining knowledge to support specialized trust services.
Acquires and applies intermediate knowledge of industry products, services and processes.
Prepares and presents discretionary distribution requests to the Trust Operating Committee or for peer review as applicable.
Contacts principals, beneficiaries, remainder men, and business professionals for the acquisition, disposition, or preservation of trust assets, as needed for the administration of trust accounts.
Arranges and conducts client meetings.
Monitors account activity and documents client communications.
Ensures account coding is current and accurate.
Participates in special projects and activities as requested.
Seeks additional training, seminars, etc to stay current with changes and trends in trust administration, investments and the trust and financial services industry.
Participates on incoming calls to trust services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
2 or more years experience in financial services industry, operations or trust administration.
Developing knowledge and understanding of trust and estate services and applicable laws.
Developing knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Windows operating environment.
