We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst with deep experience supporting financial applications and enterprise financial systems. This role will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing financial systems across Finance, Accounting, Billing, and IT functions.
This position will play a key role in financial data management, reporting, analytics, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with financial systems administration, SQL-based reporting, data integrity, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Essential Functions Financial Reporting, Data & Integrations

This role will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing financial systems across Finance, Accounting, Billing, and IT functions.
This position will play a key role in financial data management, reporting, analytics, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with financial systems administration, SQL-based reporting, data integrity, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Essential Functions Financial Reporting, Data & Integrations
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSRS reports to support financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across financial systems and integrated applications.
- Partner with Finance leadership to enhance reporting capabilities, including dashboards, KPIs, and profitability analysis.
- Support data warehouse initiatives and optimize data models for financial applications.
- Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and insights for Finance, Accounting, and leadership teams.
- Configure, support, and enhance enterprise financial applications, including billing, collections, time entry, and financial management modules.
- Customize forms, workflows, inquiries, and system rules using financial application tools.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve complex reporting, integration, and data discrepancies.
- Support system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new module implementations in partnership with IT teams and vendors.
- Maintain system access, user security, and data governance standards.
- Participate in testing, implementation, and deployment of financial systems and third-party integrations.
- Support system optimization, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance system performance.
- Document system specifications, data mapping, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server, stored procedures, SSRS, and data modeling.
- Experience with data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and optimized data structures.
- Experience supporting and customizing enterprise financial applications.
- Strong understanding of financial operations including billing, accounting, reporting, and data workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting financial systems within a professional services, corporate, or enterprise environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience with financial application configuration, support, reporting, and integrations.
- Experience working with legal/professional services financial systems preferred.
- Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics solutions preferred.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Occasional standing, walking, and movement within an office environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
