Senior Project Manager
Type: 3-month contract (possible extension)
Location: Remote, United States (PT/CT time zone preferred) 
US Citizenship Required 

Job Notes:
- Organize a complex program with company's current client 
- Create a forecast for Q4 with said client
- SaaS/IoT experience preferred 



Responsibilities:
  • Manages risk plans, resource plans, budget, schedules, communication between key company groups, and other associated PM processes
  • Ensures that all features are properly prioritized, adequately staffed, and executed to meet the schedule, quality and business goals
  • Identifies and mitigates project risks
  • Provide engineering guidance and support to designers and partners for new products.
  • Oversees project budgeting, resource utilizations, and project planning
  • Constructs and administers the project management plan and ensures change control processes are used effectively to communicate scope, schedule, or resource variations to stakeholders
  • Be an agile champion and participate in scrum rituals
  • Manage deliverables through SW lifecycle, including coordinating with cross-company teams
  • Provides regular program performance updates/reviews to management

Experience/Requirements:

10+ years of Software Project Mangement work experience desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, preferably those involving variety of disciplines with an emphasis on software development with tight deadlines
  • 5 years minimum project management experience and previous experience managing multi-projects, multi-disciplined teams and programs with minimal supervision
  • Experience with software development methodologies including familiarity with Jira Agile/Scrum & Kanban environments
  • Experienced in using project schedule and resource management tools like MS Project
  • Experienced in Agile, SAFE and Waterfall methodologies and ability to provide guidance to team on best practices
  • Must have the ability to lead/influence cross-company teams
  • Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 5 years’experience in the technology field, including development work and interactions with customers
  •  
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to direct and coordinate the work activities of the project team
  • Ability to communicate directly to senior management
  • Excellent English communication skills

Preferred Skillset:
  • Act as Compliance Officer and stay abreast of current security and privacy protection regulations, proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and work across the company to create, plan, and execute innovative solutions.
  • Conduct regulatory inventory and compliance risk assessments;manage compliance monitoring and testing in accordance with best practices.
  • Oversee complaints management (response, resolution, reporting, corrective actions).
  • Create regulatory compliance documentation and file regulatory reports for security and privacy regulations, including NIST, CMMC, PCI, ADA, and enterprise-specific requirements.
  • Apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments.
  • Design and coordinate the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate regulatory exams and internal business unit audits.
  • Interact with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization’s internal controls.
  • Coordinate rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when required.

 

Education:

 
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related technical field or the equivalent in experience
