Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization and help lead day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for managing financial reporting, overseeing accounting cycles, supporting audits, and providing leadership to the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, and audit preparation
- Analyze financial data and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency
- Supervise and support accounting staff while maintaining compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting initiatives
- 8+ years of accounting experience required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
- Strong General Ledger experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with ERP systems such as Vista View, Spectrum, or Foundation Accounting Software is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
