Job Description
The Senior Commercial Relationship Manager (Senior CRM) manages and grows a portfolio of commercial member relationships, driving loan and deposit growth while ensuring strong risk management and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in expanding market share through new business development, deepening existing relationships, and delivering tailored commercial banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, retain, and grow a commercial portfolio with a focus on C&I, CRE, and SBA lending.
- Drive loan and deposit growth through business development, lead generation, and centers of influence.
- Analyze financial statements and structure commercial loan requests;present recommendations through the loan approval process.
- Ensure portfolio risk management aligns with credit union policies, strategy, and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively call on members and prospects via in-person and phone outreach.
- Cross-sell commercial products and services to meet member needs.
- Participate in community and business organizations and support Commercial Services initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in C&I and CRE lending, including SBA lending.
- Strong business development, credit analysis, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of commercial lending regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
