Supply Chain Manager –Manufacturing
  •    Permanent/Direct Hire
  •    Salary is $75-85K, DOE
  •    Onsite in Richardson, TX

 KEYS:
  •    Strong Supply Chain background in the manufacturing industry
  •    Strong negotiation skills & experience
  •    Experience with Inventory Controls
  •    Experience developing & implementing Supply Chain Department & Systems is highly desirable

Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing full cycle supply chain operations. The SCM will lead procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationship strategies to support and align with strategic initiatives to accomplish company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain processes and procedures
  • Oversee employees within Supply Chain, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving and Scheduling
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and capacity constraints
  • Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract/pricing negotiations, and supplier management
  • Plan, organize, and oversee work activities to provide correct materials are on time and at budgeted cost
  • Use of ERP system to ensure data accuracy and accept new work into the plant by providing vendor lead time information
  • Oversee logistics & transportation and receiving operations
  • Oversee inventory management ensuring inventory is accurate, stored in organized areas and accounted for properly and correctly within the ERP system
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve supply chain efficiency
  • Prepares statistical analysis, production, and other related reports

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of Supply Chain Management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of inventory management experience
  • Proven experience in a Supply Chain Managerial or Leadership role
  • Experience developing and implementing processes and procedures
  • Experience working within an ERP system

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related field
  • Experience with and/or ability to read engineering drawings
  • Experience working within an ISO environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
