We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team and help manage federal tax filings and client bookkeeping needs.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team and help manage federal tax filings and client bookkeeping needs.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing Individuals-1040, Partnerships-1065, Corporations-1120, and S Corporations 1120s complex income tax returns along with their state filing and Conducting technical and analytical reviews of the Tax Returns to check for the accuracy and qualified deductions. Researching Federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
- Reinstating forfeited and franchise tax involuntarily ended entities and filing amendments in the formation.
- Oversee and review client bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Drake, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documents and provide guidance throughout the tax preparation process.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients for tax planning and compliance.
- Maintain organized and thorough documentation of all tax and bookkeeping activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
- Work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple clients without requiring micromanagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification (preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of federal tax preparation experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Drake or tax related software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and manage time efficiently.
- Experience in a tax/bookkeeping hybrid role is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines without hand-holding.
